Since I posted about weighing 166.0 on May 25th, I am happy to report that I have lost 6.2 pounds. I started following the Weight Watchers point-system again and by THE NEXT MONDAY, I was down to 159.
That Monday was the morning of my surgery, so this past week when I've been recovering, I have not been able to follow the Weight Watchers program exactly. Instead, I have filled myself up on animal crackers, saltines, applesauce, and jello. But even with the swelling/water-retention that comes after a surgery, and the constant snacking to keep myself feeling okay, I weighed tonight and am at 159.8. I'm feeling pretty good about that.
My goal for weigh-in next Monday (the 18th) is 157. I can't add exercise until I get the okay from my doctor at my appointment on June 21st (hopefully). Then I'll REALLY start taking off the pounds :).
It's crazy what cutting out sweet tea has done for the way I feel.
