Tip #4: One Last House Hoorah!

Welcome back to School Picture Day!

It's time for Tip #4 for Smooth Sailing Back-to-School!

If you've just joined us, it's not too late to check out Tip #1, Tip #2, or Tip #3.

Tip #4 is to Plan One Last House Hoorah!

If you are anything like me, you had ideas of what you were going to get finished while the kids were off school (or in my case, when I was off school).

And if you are anything like me, you got SOME of these items done, but not all of them.

Well.

This is the week.

Today through next Friday is going to be my last-ditch effort to get some of those "summer list" items done!

So let's get started!

1. First you'll have to make a list of the things you want to get finished before school gets started.  Write down every single little thing, even if you probably won't get them all complete.

2. Put them in order from most important to least important.

3. Now...decide how much each task will take and PUT THEM ON YOUR CALENDAR!

This is an "anti-procrastination week" of sorts.

I've got about 40 small items on my list and I am putting the first 25 or so on my calendar just a few items a day for the next several days.

You can do the same.

Put more items on days you have more free time and less items on days you have hardly any free time.  Trust me...it feels great to mark off even the smallest things!!!

Okay...so get your list started and put those babies on the calendar!  I can't wait to report back next weekend and let you know how many items I marked off my list!
